1. 先登陆你的帐户http://www.hostmonster.com/dm. 点击导航条的”dedicated ip”
2. 点击”order dedicated ip” 进入选择支付方式界面
3. 如果选择PayPal支付,如下图:
再点”Pay Now” 进入Paypal支付界面.
输入你的Paypal登陆信息后,会返回到Hostmonster的界面,不要忘记选择complete完成定单提交.
至此,交易完成，等待他们分配独立IP即可，一般一个工作日内即可分配到帐户。
在GoDaddy购买了独立IP,并不是马上就可以使用的，还需要自己手工添加下. 具体操作过程如下:
1. 首先购买独立IP,这里就不详细述说购买步骤，相关文章可以参考

2. 登陆帐户 → my account → hosting → 你的主机列表，点击需要添加IP的主机帐户 → 右边会显示空间详细参数情况, 如下图
如果还没有添加,你会看到add dedicated ip address,点击后大概一个小时左右 刷新此页面 即会看到独立IP.(点击前请确保你主机的status为setup状态)
如果添加后了，会看到和上图一样的remove dedicated ip address
最近国外主机被封的IP很多，LunarPages也不例外,现提供一个免费更换服务器的方法，不过还是强烈建议大家购买独立IP.
1. 登陆用你的帐户登陆http://support.lunarpages.com,如果没有,先注册一个,提交个ticket告诉他们你的站点不能访问了,IP可能被GFW封了，一定要同时付上tracert的记录(电脑的开始 → 运行 → CMD → 输入命令tracert 你的IP)并提供给他们你的密码的第一位和最后一位，详细的邮政地址（包括街道地址，市，省，国家，邮编，要和你写在lunarpages主机账户里面的信息一致，记不清的可以登陆查看一下），电话号码。

Godaddy提供的SSL证书，设置好之后是包含有一个独立IP的，最便宜的SSL证书每年29.99美金(08年1月9日上涨10美金)，通过本站优惠连接，只需要14.99美金。而单独购买独立IP每个月是2.99美金，算下来价格差不多相差了一半。SSL包含的独立IP和单独购买的IP有什么区别呢？
首先购买了SSL证书并设置后，虚拟主机的主域名是不可以更改的。SSL的独立IP也是不可以更改的。
相反，如果购买的是独立IP的话，可以随意修改主域名，假如独立IP被屏蔽了，只要在控制面板remove一下，再重新申请add一下就会获得一个新的独立IP。(其实如果做的不是违法站点,SSL的独立IP都是不会被封的)
